Well I ansered my own question found patend info in the arcives looks to be july 6 1993 so the comp guns have to be all palmer guns. Which means my july 7 1992 production pre alaskan guide special sn.1x had to be as early a production gun as any. Good to know. thanks to the forum and jody for the info!

was wondering if there is a time line for the first production of compensated guns, did monson ever machine any or was it started in palmer? this may have already been beat to death and I just missed it. Thanks for any help!
I know that the ported guns have been out for some time, just didin't know when the comp guns were produced till I found the patent papers in the archives for wesson. thanks for the feed back.
