OfflineI have always been very happy with the hogue rubber grips on my 744 8v but that's also what it came with. Long story short I just aquired a 715 8v and I'm seriously thinking about having LB Customs do up a matched pair of laminate grips for them. But I am hoping to see some he has done for other people.

OfflineHe no longer is making grips. Either retired or something else. I tried reaching out to him 2 years ago. Elvis has left the building. Your only choice I know is Hogue. I do know if you buy medallions you can ship them to Hogue and buy grips from them they will install medallions for $25 to $30 I am finally sending my 4 pair of medallions in for install, I was waiting for there next sale. To bad by the way I have 3 pair of LB grips and guard them feverishly. The one pair I have is like a Zebra and I have it installed on my 32-20 it's a lighter grip. I always try to put lighter grips on blue guns and a darker grip on a stainless or as seen here on a polished stainless or nickel gun! Here are my two LB grips. THe third one is on my lil Dan.![]()

You can request both grips made from same laminate stock. The Hogues will do their best to accommodate you. When Aaron Hogue was still with us, I had him in my phone just like many of us have Genny on speed dial
I am going to hold this option in reserve for now. I did hear back from LBCustomgrips and he is busy taking care of family. He hopes to reopen one day but said it wouldn't be any time soon. So for now I'm just gonna hold off. In the mean time here are a few examples of his laminate grips I was able to find.
