Hi folks: Anyone know the range of years when Dan Wesson made the .357M revolvers with pork chop barrels and external barrel nuts? I just purchase a pistol pack, but would like to know when it was made. Serial number is 805X. Thanks in advance for any information. Chuck

As to your question, the pork chop guns were made in the early 1970's, external nuts are probably done by 1972. There is a good thread on this timeline, you can search for more info. Forum member Chargerfan is our resident pork expert, he. Can give you more info I'm sure.
