I bought a Dan Wesson Arms .44 Magnum CTG. SB010901. I got a great deal on it from a friend. $150.00. What is it worth and how old is it. I would also like to get it looked at to clean and check it out, any ideas. mike

Wow, you definitely can't beat that price!
Even if it was sitting at the bottom of a lake for a month, it's still a good deal.
Wait for some of these other guys to weigh in, but I'm guessing if it's a Palmer gun, it would have been made between 1990 & '94. If it's a Norwich gun, that would make it a '97 or newer.
With this limited info & without seeing pictures, I'm going to say it's at least worth double what you paid...LOL!

I will agree with Charger you can't beat that price!
As far as age we will need to know where it was manufactured. The list below shows the date range for each factory:
- 1971 - 1992 Monson, MA
- 1992 - 1995 Palmer, MA
- 1997 - 2005 Norwich, NY Under Bob Serva
- 2005 - current Norwich, NY CZ owned (these guns will say CZ on them)
