Just what model Dan does this 2 5/16", 357/38 cal Barrel fit?
I've been looking but no luck so far.

Arlen, to short for a 15-2, 14-2, mod 11 + 12. Maybe a 15 or 14, but I think they are 21/4. Maybe a Lil Dan? If some who has one can weigh in you could rule that in or out. Maybe from a formerly fixed barrel gun? Is it 1/16" too long or 3/16 too short?

I can tell you it's to short for a 14-2. Maybe a 14. It is between 2 1/4" and 2 5/16".
Them porkchops with an external nut were what length as compared to the recessed nut?
The little Dan did come to mind.

I was trying to be funny. Models 11/12 with exterior nut are 21/2". When they came out with the 14/15 they just lopped off the 1/4" that the twelve sided nut fit on. The 14-2 /15-2 again have 21/2". I suspect a little quality control issue but it should fit a 14/15 porkchop .

Ole Dog is right, your barrel is made for a flush-nut Porkchop. DW trimmed 1/4" off the end to achieve the flush nut & eliminate the "ugly" prodtruding nut on the earlier models. Like this pair of 14's, for example.

I have a High Standard Mark II Sentinel (pork chop style, looks like a Dan Wesson) with the 2-5/16" barrel. It looks like the picture you posted.

It's probably the 2 1/2" porkchop BA which should work on a DW or HS
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
