Hi
The other day I came across a really nice Dan Wesson model 44 mag with an 8 inch heavy barrel on it. The gun is in supred condition and does appear to have been used much at all and does appear to have been refinished either.
The frame is a purpleish blue and the barrel and cylinder are a really nice deep blue color.
Is this normal? Any help on this would be much appreciated.

Yep that's not uncommon. Search for "barney" on this forum and you'll find plenty of information. I have several purple frames- no big deal to me as they are all shooters...
Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....
