so i have been reading about steel type/quality used in dan wessons.   sintered? steel....i am wondering if the stainless dan's (monsoon) are made with the same process.  i'm looking at polishing the action, and am curious if the sintered steel is an issue with stainless.

Sintered steel is basically MIM they used it early on but switched to cast hammers and triggers well before the 715's were introduced. I've polished and even reshaped triggers slightly to get them nicer, less stack more linear and deburred the face, with no issues.
