I have a used 357 and don't know how often it was shot before I purchased twenty plus years ago. Recently changed the hammer and trigger springs with a Wolff set. Also changed the firing pin and spring (the old one was not worn as much as I thought it would be). I could tell a difference not only in trigger pull but also in primer detonation.
Should I also change the hand spring?

When it comes to the hand spring -- "If it ain't broke--don't fix it"... Hand springs usually don't get weak, but they do break.
If you can find a spare, just keep it on hand...
