I need to move the POI on my 22V slightly to the right.

In looking at it yesterday, the multi-tool seems to loosen the allen nut on the right side of the rear sight.  The slotted screw on the left side is very tight and I don't want to strip it.

The sight itself appears to be oriented to the left of the frame.

There is nothing in the instruction manual about how to adjust this thing.

Help! (and thanks!)

The allen screw on the right moves the sight for windage, the slotted screw on the left is the lock nut which holds it together. If the allen screw doesn't move the sight you have internal problems.

The internal problem might just be crud (my official term for "it hasn't been cleaned in 25 years") and a liberal application of CLP spray might loosen things up. So many DW's spent too much time as Safe Queens that they are just packed with dried lubricant, dust, unburned powder, ...

Like I said CRUD (hey, I sense a new acronym, Crap Residing in Unloved Dan's)

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Great advice guys.  This one certainly looks like a (former) safe queen.

I intend to shoot it regularly.

Now, if I could just find a 4" barrel for it.

Thanks!
