A guy at my club was asking around if anyone had a Dan Wesson snubnose 357. I showed the guy what I had and he offered me $400 for it on the spot. I don't know this guy at all, so I'm not sure if this is a fair price. I already have a 2 1/2" S&W model 66 that I usually shoot, so I could let this prize walk away.
I have a blue/plum 14-2 (Monson) in mint condition.

You want to what? Ok Just kidding. $400.00 is probably a fair price depending on area and condition. It is obviously your choice, but just for conversation sake think about this. A Dan Wesson 14-2 is a semi less common model that is no longer produced and may be difficult to replace if you so decided. All that said of course is just my opinione and good luck on whatever you decide.

If you don't want to sell him yours... Sell him mine !!!
I'm going to keep the High polish blue 14-2 with the bobbed hammer, so this one can go.

I don't need the money right now, so I guess I'll hold on to it for the time being. I just don't like nice revolvers sitting in the safe and not being enjoyed. If I continue to ignore it, maybe I will try and sell it to someone on this forum. At least it will go to someone who will appreciate it.

It's always nice to offer a gun to a member here. You can be assured it will be taken care of and enjoyed. I have a safe full of guns, tho I only have 6 DWs plus one pistol pac. I enjoy just knowing they are there. Sometimes I open the safe and just stare at them, then sometimes I take pictures and put them on the computer so I can view them without having to go downstairs and open the safe. I told someone the other day that DW owners are "cult" to some extent. For sure we are a special group with a common interest. My wife says I'm a gun "nut."
