What are these? They don't appear to be screws because they have no slots. Are they screwed from underneath and are the tops actually caps over the holds? Are these rivets?

If I understand your question properly, from my perspective as I point my DW downrange I see the head of two frame mounted press fit pins on the right side of the frame under the cylinder.

These are locating/pivot pins for action parts and do not seem to be a named part of the DW Small Frame Revolver.

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Yes, you're correct! I was reversing my right and left. They are on the right side of the gun as it points downrange and I see them on my 15-2 Monson and my 14 Monson.

So, these are locating/pivot pins for action parts. That being the case, if one of them were missing on a gun, I would assume that would not be a good thing.

If one of those were missing, your gun should technically not be able to function.
