No stainless Dans until 1983. There are factory nickel porkchops though. There are some Dans that have aftermarket hard chrome floating around. All I have seen are dash 2s though.
Models 14 and 15 porkchops have a barrel 1/4" shorter than the external nut 11 and 12s and the dash 2s. That makes the 21/4" barrel look like a heavy underlug but it is not like a dash 2 heavy. There is only one style shroud for porkchops.
The shroud with no room for an interior barrel nut is for either a model 11 (fixed sights, matte finish) or a model 12 ( adjustable sights, polished finish.). They use a twelve sided nut that screws on to the muzzle. You can use the barrel nut of your model 15 if you want. When they introduced the models 14 and 15 the barrel was shortened 1/4". When DW introduced the dash 2s in 1974 the barrels became 1/4" longer again. Your gun dates to 1971..

You will NOT be able to use your model 15 barrel nut on either of the shrouds you purchased as the model 15 barrel is too short. However, any 4 inch DW barrel would work, and while a model 15 or later barrel nut would do in a pinch with a 4 inch barrel on these shrouds the 12 sided version would be more correct. Barrel nut tools for the external nuts are readily available on eBay.
