I have never seen close-up either .22 magnum model.

Are the barrels marked .22 or .22 magnum? (Rookie still learning...I should have said shrouds.)

If I had either magnum model, would the barrels be interchangeable with my model 22?

Thanks for letting me pick your brain...

The shrouds are marked as 22 magnum rather than 22 LR. The barrels and shrouds are interchangeable between the magnum and the LR.

Many thanks snake-eye! One to file away for future reference. I recently saw FS a model 22 pistol pak with a 22m cylinder advertised as a magnum pistol pak...hence my confusion.

In the description they stated the 22M cylinder was fitted on a 22LR, hence the CAL 22LR marking on the barrel shroud.

Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....

It's a .22lr pack (actually 3/4 of a pack) with .22m cylinder, artificially inflated to be a .22m pack.  This is what a real .22m pack looks like (not for sale).

Thanks for posting the picture, Harley...that is one sweetie for sure! I can plainly see the roll marks on the shrouds.
