I have a W12 .357 MAG revolver. I am looking for a replacement trigger and hammer. I can't find any specifically marked for a model 12. I find parts for that are said to be compatible for models 9, 14 and 15. I was wondering if these would fit a model 12. Or does someone know a source for model 12 parts.

I discussed this in another post. But as to compatability, yes they are. The only difference is the model 12 trigger does not have the little ledge the trigger spring rests on. The later trigger, if used would have a longer hammer fall. Not as fast. The change improved primer ignition but sacrificed the extremely short hammer fall that is one of the features that makes Dan Wessons so accurate. The latter models are short, but not as short. Another revolver with a short hammer fall is the Manurhin MR 73.
