I picked up a 2.5" 14 barrel and shroud and tried it on my 15. A couple of issues: the sight, which is pinned so tightly it bent my S$W armorers punch, sits noticeably too low for use with the rear sights. I knew this was an issue, but I assumed I could swap the sight for a taller 15 sight and use it. Am I missing something or should I just swap/sell this barrel and grab a real 15 snub to use?

The model 14 barrel sight isn't interchangeable like the 15, I would look for a 15 barrel.
