I recently bought another Dan Wesson, the seller stated it was a 357 with a 4"HV barrel. When it got here it was a 22lr with a 4" HV barrel so I thought what the heck all my 22's are euro target guns. Why not a wheel gun. Any help on the age would be great serial #9151. This is my only Dan with a four digit number.

22 production started in 79' so 1980 ? Definitely not a model 15.

22 serial number info is sketchy at best on a good day.... I honestly think they had old frames lying around and pulled them out every once in a while to sell .... but I'd say 1979 is a good start.
