I was just looking at the pic in another post and noticed the manual lists a model 38P as well as the 738P. I wonder if any were ever produced. Here is another unknown for you guys who are good at finding the unusual stuff. Or am I just slow on the uptake and have we already been down this path?

I think we discussed it a long time ago and came to the conclusion they were never built... Not to say we won't find one next week

Yep, we decided that they were probably assigned a model name, but that they never did produce any for whatever reason...or any extra barrel lengths, either.
But as Shoot said...watch...someone will pop in here tomorrow with a blued one.
