I remember for a year or two that Dan Wesson made a snubnose 38 five shot. I saw one in a store and have not hear or seen one since. Does anyone else remember this revolver?

Yep, as LB stated, a few of us have been lucky enough to land an elusive "Lil' Dan". They are unique from any other Dan Wesson, in that they have a smaller size frame (and everything else, too) than other DW models. They were made in the 90's, at the Palmer plant.
Here's a couple pics of mine, same gun is currently in my signature pic at the bottom of my post.

Lobosailor. I also have had the good fortune to acquire one of the Lil' Dans. My wife has purloined it to use as her personal homeland security instrument.
