OfflineI followed up with the Cabelas store today. The gun shipped already without the documentation. They will mail it separately.
For those who want to see what else they have of John's:

Darn, I'm a day late. I talked to John Taffin about that gun several times. When I saw it I was hoping to get it. It was a 32 H&R that he sent to Gary Reeder to have reamed to a 327 Federal. He told me Dan Wesson never made any 327s. You got a nice piece.
Thank You for the history!

Further diving into the orgin of John's .327; It was not just a .32 H&R Magnum from the Dan Wesson factory. It was a First Issue, as I suspected and pulled the grip today to confirm.
".....The fact that it was worked on by Gary Reeder is another nice piece of history attached to it. The gun was certainly done before my time 2003.
His is not the only conversion to 327 Federal. I did a few after the round came out. I say that but was really, only a handful. Who knows what other gunsmiths may have made the conversion.
Enjoy your piece of history, you are lucky to own it and thank you again,
