I bought some Hogue goncalo grips, with finger grooves, and I'm
not too happy with them. The box they came in says for round tang
revolvers, but the hole in the grip is SQUARE. I called them and told em
about it. The thing is, the grips FIT. Even with the square hole. Will
the small frame grips fit the large frame? I didnt think they would. Or,
is this the way Hogue makes the large frame wood grips, with a SQUARE
hole?

I believe all Hogue grips have square holes due to the manufacturing process.

Thanks, Bruce. I was hoping someone would know. I didnt figure
that small frame grips would fit a large frame, anyway.

Yep - that's correct. The large frame grips are made with the square hole but they fit the round tang. I was fooled by it the first time I saw one also!
