I received some information this morning from a High Standard collector. It appears that the High Standard branded guns were made between 1973 and 1975. So the relationship between High Standard and Dan Wesson must have ended shortly before the 15-2 production started.
I also received a list of production number that will be made available to DWCA members in the archive.
Based on the 1970 article provided by Charger Fan I have to wonder if High Standard produced the first guns or if this relationship came along a couple of years later.
I've ask the High Standard collector if he has information on the early relation between eh two companies and am waiting to hear back.
