I suspect these are not very plentiful. Do they all have interchangeable barrels? How do they compare with Monson and Palmer?

I do not have any Norwich revolvers, but I have handled a few. I do not believe any fixed barrel revolvers were made at the Norwich plant. All Norwich guns are highly regarded as to fit finish and function. When Bob Serva started production at Norwich, newer modern machinery was used. When CZ bought the company they continued the high quality on both the 1911s and the revolvers until they ceased revolver production.

Thanks lonwolf93, that is what I would have guessed based on what little I know about the history of Dan Wesson, but you never know.

How does the numbering go for first issue guns? Mine has 337 on it and is a model 15, 2.5". Were the first issue numbered sequentially regardless of model or within model?

They were numbered within the model. Each model started at 001, if I'm not mistaken.
