OfflineI've had a couple of DW revolvers in the past, a 14 snub that went to my daughter for protection and a 15HV that went to my grandson on his 21st birthday. This past weekend I picked up a DW 22 that I'm going to keep for myself. A Munson made with s/n 129xx. Anyone have an idea when it was manufactured.

OfflineYea this one was a bargain I got it for $1400 though no box and no doorknob barrel tool. I think it would bring 2k maybe more. I remember the pics were bad on GB it looked like it was in pretty bad shape but I took a chance on it being a First Issue and a 22 mag. To my surprise it looked much better in person when I got it from my FFL. Of course with shipping and fees it was more like $1530 but well worth it. I was just kind of kidding with the trade talk I know DA...64 has some very nice First Issues I thought maybe he has a First Issue I do not have. My list of first Issues are as follows:
First Issue 715 Pistol Pac ll (blue case)
First Issue 745 Pistol Pac 45 Colt (4 barrels 10VH, 8VH, 6VH, 4VH with unfluted cylinder and blue case)
First Issue 744 Pistol Pac 44 Mag (3 barrels all compensated barrels & patch, manual & doorknob in blue case)
First issue 7445 8VH ( as new in box with patch, manual & doorknob ECT)
First Issue 7445 2VHC (in box with patch, manual & doorknob)
First Issue 722 6VH Magnum (in box )
First Issue 7460 4VH Rowland (in original box w/manual, doorknob)

OfflineYea the 45Colt First Issue was a great find! First I did not notice it had a 10VH barrel so that was a win. so it has 10VH, 8VH, 6VH & 4VH got to love that. I think I'm in for $4600 on it I was able to make a offer direct to the gun shop that had it and had to buy a blue case Separate. I think it may be a one off I have never seen another one. Most likely it was a special order with the non fluted cylinder. It's most likely the gun thats worth the most in the collection. I know for sure I would not sell it for what I paid. Pretty much a keeper unless someone offers a "I don't want to sell it price" I'm sure we all have a few of those guns in our collection!![]()
