Does anyone know what a Dan Wesson Sentinel MK III is?I don`t know if it is a real DW gun or if it is a story.If it is out there does anyone have a picture?

Pretty sure Charger has one, and will post a pic for you. If I understand correctly, it was a kind of joint venture between DW and High Standard. I think it was a Dan Wesson design manufactured by High Standard
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Dan wesson produced about 31,000 Sentinels for HS between 1973 and 1975. Mine is tore apart on the bench righ tnow for a trigger job.

I've currently got a Sentinel MK II, with a MK III on the way soon.
The MK II is a fixed sight gun, while the MK III has adjustable sights. These were indeed made by DW for HS, for a couple years & are relatively hard to find today.

yes, they are interchangeable between the two. There are actually only some very minor differences between the two guns.

That Sentinel .22 is an REAL HS. They were produced by HS long before DW entered the picture. My dad still has the one he bought in high school (let's say '59-60). his is a 9 shot also, but sports a 6" barrel. Those have alloy frames.
