Not sure if this has been discussed previously....looks like the 715 (as well as several popular 1911 models) is off the production line, at least for now.

The 715 production stop has been mentioned in a few other threads, but not really "discussed". I'd not heard about some of the 1911's getting the axe too, though.

With CZ buying Colt, I was expecting that they would be dropping certain models to mix options between the brands.

I didn't know CZ was buying Colt, interesting. That must be the reason they are bringing back some of the "snake gun" revolvers.

Ceska Zbrojovka Group SE said that it has purchased all the shares in Colt Holding Company LLC, the parent company of Colt Manufacturing Company LLC and its Canadian subsidiary, Colt Canada Corp. in a $220M deal due to be completed in the second quarter of 2021.
