This is a question that's probably answered somewhere on this site if I knew where to look, but since I don't I'm just going to ask it.
Is there a difference in barrels between the Model 14 and the Model 15? Or are they interchangable?
Different sight or point of aim?

To be VERY specific, the "barrel" is (mostly) identical, the barrel assembly (BA) is different.
Are you asking about the most common B/A configuration, the straight (not Porkchop) style?
If this a question about fixed versus adjustable rear sight, there is a difference in POA/POI between the two which the EWK front sight conversion sight will fix for you if you.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

I can see that I have to make more sense when I ask a question. I'm rather new to DW and typically think of barrel and shroud as all one thing, the "barrel." That's obviously a mistake!
So, to be very specific, and leaving aside the "porkshop" models, how much difficulty will I encounter when using a Model 15 barrel assembly on a Model 14, and vice versa?
Sounds like there's a difference in POA. Can the sight be changed on all shrouds, both models? Or do some shrouds have a "fixed" front sight?
Is that more clear?

The shrouds will physically interchange between the 14-2 & 15-2 models, no problem. The 14-2's all have pinned front sights (semi-fixed), which are lower than the ones used on the 15-2. EWK makes front sights to correct the POA issue when swapping shrouds.

That's just the information I was looking for. How much trouble is it to change the sights going in the other direction? To put a sight on a 14-2 shroud that will work with a 15-2 revolver?

To put a 15-2 sight on a 14-2 shroud should only require drilling the sight for the pin. I "believe" the pin is 1/16.
