I am interested in buying a revolver for conceal carry. I've been looking long and hard at the Dan Wesson 715. However, I am curious as to how the 715 stacks up to the S&W Model 60 and Model 640. Can anyone give me an idea as to the difference between these revolvers such as dimensions, specifications, size etc?

The Dan Wesson 715-2 would be more comparable to the L frame S&W such as the 686. I carry a 715-2 with the 2.5" barrel in the winter. It works well with a Simply Rugged Sougherdough holster. It is not as easy to conceal as 640 Smith but it is easier to shoot. I end up carrying a J frame Smith in the summer when clothing is lighter. Hope this helps.
