I have a chance to trade for this revolver. Not sure of the year or model. I have not inspected it yet but have read the posts on what to look for. Any ideas on model and value on this one? Bluing is worn by the muzzle and I'm thinking it's an older police carry weapon.

Model 44, doubtful one of these would have been a carry gun! It is early in the 44's late 70's early 80's, someone will be long and help out soon!
