OfflineHello! I’m new to the Forum. Not sure if I’m posting this in the right place. I bought a used DW .357 magnum with a 4” barrel and am looking for two things: (1) the wrench needed to remove/tighten the barrel/shroud assembly - it’s loose on my pistol and (2) a 5” barrel and shroud assembly that I can put on the pistol from time to time instead of the 4” barrel. Does anyone on the Forum know where I might be able to purchase either or both of these items? Sure would appreciate hearing from anyone and everyone who knows where I might be able to find these items. Thanks!

OfflineWelcome to the forum from PA!!!! The best wrenches can be found here https://www.ewkarms.com/zen8/ or ebay. The pork chop barrel assemblies can be found on ebay/gunbroker.

OfflinePoint of education for me: The photos show the barrel with the extended "tang" along the front of the frame. Can "regular" (later style) V and VH barrels and shrouds be used on that frame?? I have been under the impression, No. Please correct me if I am wrong. (If I am NOT wrong, are there a different "tanged" shrouds and barrels available?? Again in my ignorance, I was thinking the tang was only for one model (12??) and was only 4" option).

Dan Wesson Porkchop Shroud Adapter - $35.00 : EWK Arms
The adapter in the link above is what is needed. And then a little front sight work: Dan Wesson Patridge Style Front Sight Set - $49.99 : EWK Arms
Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....
You have an unofficial Model 14-1. That has different front and rear sights than a model 14. They were made in 1973 and 74. The barrels of the 14 and 15 (-1too) are one fourth inch short than the models 11 and 12. When the barrel nut was put inside the shroud they shortened the barrels by a 1/4". Later dash 2 models revert back to the longer barrels.
Because of the different rear sights of the 14-1 from the 14 the height of the front sight of the 14-1 is different than a that of a 14. The gun will not shoot to point of aim with the incorrect front sight. Be aware of that when hunting for a barrel assembly. There is also a difference between the front sights of a model 14 and a 15. The 15s have taller front sights than a 14.

Also, I just noticed that your porkchop is missing the Ejector Rod.
IF the parts are the same!, check out the forum "Parts and Service" below. Look for "Reasonable Selection..." by RichardsDWs. On the second page of parts, he lists some ejector rods & springs.
My dealings with him have been GREAT!
