I did some searching last night and couldn't find any topics related to my question so here goes .... How concerned does one get with the infamous cylinder ring created from use of a revolver when it comes to purchasing a used one?

None, unless there's a groove; but then again, if it locks up tight- no worries.
Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....

I consider it along with all the other aspects of the gun, but normally is not a decision maker. New guns often have even a faint turn line and.

I have seen new guns with cylinder ring from people just picking them up and
playing with them.A harly and ron said if it locks up tight and timing good don't
worry about it.
