Hello i am new to the forums so i hope im doing this right. What brought me here is someone offered me a Dan wesson 14-2 they said but i cant find any like it and the pic is too blurry for me to read anything engraved on it. i was wondering what it really is and what its value was, he offered it for an $1100 rifle i have. Should i go for it or ask for add ons? or is it even worth it? I have not owned any 357 and ive been itching to get one but i just want to make sure its really worth that much before just plunging into it and like i said i cant find a thing about this one!

It is a very common model 15-2 with a 6 inch vented and heavy barrel shroud. It is impossible to tell the condition but if it was as new it might go for 750 today without box and barrel tool. Or as low as 550 if it is cosmetically challenged.
