I just got a new compensated Shroud / Barrel (44VH8C) with a stainless barrel. I can not get the barrel out of the shroud for installation onto the frame. 
Is it suppose to slide out? I would think so as other barrel / shrouds slip apart very easily. I'd like to post a few PICS but not as separate pieces.

Is this a new barrel assembly you bought?
If so, maybe it's assembled? Is the inner nut is installed on the barrel, then the outer "finger nut" is screwed onto the end...sort of trapping the barrel inside?

It is a brand new Comp shroud / barrel. I took off the outer finger nut and removed the inner locking nut with the new wrench but can not move the barrel.

The 1 compensated barrel I own seems to do the same thing, though it eventually comes loose.

I got it loose! 
I got a piece of wooden dowl and tapped it with a hammer and it popped out!
It seems that because it was assembled and shipped in bubble wrap the barrel probably got jamed in the shroud as the barrel will not slide through the shroud. The barrel must be tapered being larger at the frame end than the muzzle end. Anyway it's assembled and are on the way!
