The barrel looked a little shy of 4 inches ...so I measured her...3.5 inches from inside frame to muzzle ...forcing cone to muzzle 3.75 inches..

? why not 4"? When the model 11/12 exterior barrel nut was replaced by the familar concealed nut, the barrels were shortened 1/4". Upon the debut of the 15-2, the missing 1/4 was restored.

I'm not sure...it just looked a little short .. and when I measured ...it was 3 3/4 including the forcing cone....

Exactly. The odd barrel length on the 14-1 & 15-1 is unique to those models, all others have an even length.
