I keep second guessing myself in fear of sounding like the noob. But I am. I just want to verify that I can shoot 125g 38spl +p in my 15-2 357mag. Thanks guys.

Yes, your gun should easily digest that ammo with nary a burp...
I regularly feed my 15-2 158gr .357 rounds & it never complains. If anything, it just sez "feed me more".

Somebody, correct me if I'm wrong.
How should I say this, as it pertains to power and the lowest power would be;
lightest is 38 special with light weight projectile, then in the middle would be 38 special with medium weight projectile, then 38 special with heavy weight projectile, somewhere in there, there is a crossover to 38 + P with light weight projectile, then 38 + P with medium weight projectile, then 38 + P with heavy weight projectile, somewhere in there is a crossover to 357 Magnum with light weight projectile, then 357 Mag with medium weight projectile then you can guess the next...

Good thing about a 357 -- not much stuff fits in the cylinder that isn't supposed to...
If you can stuff it in a DW cylinder, you can shoot it ...
This includes all 38 specials, and all 357 mags.
