Here's some information on the Special Collector's production run of Dan Wesson 44 Mags.
"This special Collector's Productoin Run, Number One, is issued to introduce the Dan Wesson .44 Magnum Revolver. It is a production run limited to 250 revolvers of which this is serial number 000038. The serial number range for the run started at 0000001 and ended at 0000250. The gun has a special Light Touch engraving and a Dove Grey finish. It has been fitted with a Rosewood grip with a Pewter medallion and is shipped with a fitted presentation case."

Jody I have never noticed that on the 2nd ammendment gun the grip is attached with two screws.

I didn't notice that either... I'm assuming that it had to be two pieces. Interesting...

I just was looking through John Taffins book Big Bore Handguns and there is a gun in there with that grip no medalian and it says they were made by Herrett's.
