When Dan Wesson rose again-like the Phoenix-in 1997 I was very lucky to obtain a 5 inch barrel and shroud for my M-15. Their customer service then was superb-they returned my calls, I was able to speak to the head gunsmith, and consequently was able to purchase a 5" barrel and shroud. It was not a catalogue item, IIRC. The late lamented Skeeter Skelton was fond of the 5" on the S&W M-27. I haven't shot mine that much but when I have I liked the handling, the balance, the feel. Interested to know if anyone else has one.
