OfflineDidn't some of the fixed Palmers make it out with 5 inch barrels?
this might be one (not sure if it is fixed or not, I don't the the experience to tell, I'm just basing my guesses on some related discussions):

OfflineAnother grail to look for.
I always thought that they should offer a mini pack for us working folks, frame, one set of grips and three and five inch barrel assemblies. Kind of a minimalist do it all gun, short enough to carry, long enough to hunt with. That way you get the customer changing barrels for a minimal investment and maybe they would go ahead and buy some more BAs.

OfflineLB, I must say that your pics are the first I've seen of a 15-2 FB style shroud with a removable barrel nut. That's pretty neat, and thanks for posting the rest. Although now this poses the question...I wonder how many of those have been made?
I can't imagine there were many. I'd be more inclined to think that those were made as a special order item, to keep a few uneducated (or misinformed) DW FB buyers from making a big stink about their DW barrels not being able to be unscrewed, like their buddy's Pistol Pac guns were. Just a WAG over here...
