Hello,
New to the site. Bought my first DW about two years ago, .357 pistol pac. Since then I have been hooked. Added a Heritage 1911 recently.
Thinking of adding a .22, my local gun shop has one but its kinda beat up. No rust but heavy holster wear at the usual points and grips are dinged pretty good. Looks to function well tho, locks up tight.
Anyway seems I read somewhere that you could use .357 shrouds with .22 barrels? Does anyone know if this is correct? If I bought .22 barrels only can I use my .357 shrouds and lock nut?

Yes you can use the 357 shrouds with the 22 barrel tubes and nut
All small frame non pork chop shrouds will interchange.

The 22's are not as common. If the price is fair I would grab it. I bought one years ago for $275.00 with 6&4" barrels. Glad I did. I don't see them for anywhere close to that anymore!

OF course, It's OK to reblue as well! I love my .22, particularly since aquiring the 8" BA
