Hi, I'm a new DW owner, although I've wanted one for oh maybe 25 years. I just picked up a super clean .22 with 6" V barrel. At the range today, the DA did not have enough strength to fire the cartridges. SA was fine. I suspect a non stock hammer spring. I want to swap it with the stock weight (8lbs?) but cannot locate one at Midway or Brownells. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Thank you. It appears they only offer reduced power. I was able to locate some parts at Numrich. I'll swap out (more likely have my Gunsmith) the return and main spring, and should be in buisness. Thanks again.

Ebay sometimes has spring kits, but I have never noticed if they are for .22 models or not.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.
