OfflineHey Guys-
Again, thanks for the input. My frame has a tapered firing pin. Yes, the pin sticks in the depressed position once in a while, inconsistantly. Sometimes the pin drags against the primer, sometimes the pin stays completely depressed into the frame and the cylinder can not be opened. I end up getting tweezers and pulling out the pin. I've thoroughtly cleaned the pin hole and replaced the pin spring and even tried stretching the pin spring. No help. The pin still seem to pop out too far when the trigger is held back. One more thing, there are no burr marks in the pin hole or on the pin.
Thanks again and if I get this baby sorted out, I'll be sure to leave the fix on this thread.

OfflineHave you tried a straight shank pin? The tapered one may be wedging in the cavity. I am not sure if you can measure this or if you would just have to try it. Any way just trying to be helpful without actually seeing the problem. Just let me know if you are tired of my lame suggestions.

. a primer never knows the difference. I'd like to hear the end result also--this one is baffling me.
