I shoot the Steel Challenge with a S&W 627 revolver. I would like to start shooting rimfire Steel Challenge with a revolver. My first choice would be my Dan Wesson .22, but at only 6 rounds, I am not that good. In my crazy mind, the coolest choice would be to have a custom 10 round cylinder made for the Dan Wesson. This would allow me to use speed loaders for the 617 S&W revolver. The icing on this cake is I have two 6 inch shrouds and I could run the same revolver in both iron sights and optics (red dot) just by changing the shroud.
Has anyone ever heard of this being done or does anyone have any suggestion for a gunsmith, or company that might could do this?
