The Lansky hones used. When I look up to buy there appear to be diamond hones and then something else which is unspecified. Which do you guys use. Thanks, Butch

Pretty much any stone you would use for putting a clean, fine edge on a knife
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

All you need is a fine stone with a square face on it-- If you can fine a Arkansas small stone it will work fine. just keep them oiled when in use.
