Hi guys, I was going to order a new barrel for my DW 15 and went to the CZ/Dan Wesson web site. One comment says that the barrels don't have the index pin as on the original models. Is this an issue at all? Also what are your thoughts on these new barrels are they good quality or is it better to wait for a EWK or try to find a OEM barrel?

The barrel shroud does not have a pin, but it should have a hole for the pin on the frame.
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman "Were is the Self Help Section?" She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

I don't have any but, always heard they are of good quality. The main draw back for me is the lettering on the shrouds is done by laser instead of stamping but, I guess those days are gone. Your choices are CZ, EWK or buying used.
EDIT: just looked at EWK's site and looks like he is either stamping or cutting. The lettering looks really sharp in photos.
