First time "out" with new DW Valor Bobtail - quick range report from today, (my impressions, more than technical stats).
Brought eight mags, all new, all eight rounders: 2-Tripp Research, 2-Wilson Combat, 2-Checkmate, 2-Chip Mc. Loaded all mags (twice) with 7 rounds each. Fired all 112 rounds (Black Hills 230gr. FMJ). Had a problem with one Chip Mc. mag and failure to feed on the third round in the mag. All other mags worked perfectly, including the other Chip mag. Loaded 1-Tripp research mag with 7 rds Win 1911 230JHP, 1-Wilson Combat with Winchester PDX-1 230JHP and 1- Checkmate with Federal 230JHP. All 21 rounds worked perfectly. I love my VBob! Accuracy was good (all at 10 yards) and overall handling and recoil were a real pleasure. Next trip I'll try that Chip mag to make sure it was just an anomaly. Sorry, no time for pics.

Good to hear that the variety of mags worked well. I'll venture to say the one magazine will work just fine next time out. If it doesn't, I'll give you a dollar for it.... defective and all.
Technically, the glass is always full; half liquid, half air....
