OfflineHad a few minor glitches of the day, one was a 445SM of mine that I had never fired before. It would not allow the cylinder to close all the time, at first we thought it was the detent ball engaging a sharp edge at the rear of the cylinder, after cleaning tonight the culprit is a crane that slides front and rear too much not allowing proper engagement without rear pressure applied when closing. Is this a factory repair or one that the backyard smith can perform?

OfflineNot to get too far on this topic without the HUGE thank you to Lonwolf and his wife for hosting this annual outing. As always the company was outstanding, the food top shelf and the facility one you dream about. Beautiful weather, sound of stream in the close proximity and other than a lot of DW thunder off the mountain, quiet between shots. Thanks Lonwolf!

OfflineI'd also like to thank Lonwolf93 and his wife for hosting a great event. Like SMF said, the location is perfect, the food excellent, the company outstanding and the Dan's exceptional. I've got a few pics on my phone I'll try to lost later. I also have a bunch of phone video if I can figure out how to post them, you will understand the ' thunder in the mountains' reference.

OfflineYes it was a great get together, and we hit a beautiful day weather wise too. I have mentioned it other years and will say it again, these guys always bring a bunch of rare impressive firearms, and are very generous with them and the ammo for them. I appreciate that. I would compare it to visiting a muscle car museum and having the curator toss me the keys for all the cars.
I wanted to take more pics but as usual I got caught up in the shooting and took only a few. Here are a couple to give an idea of the firepower there-
