OfflineOle Dog, you are spot on in your observations and experiences with DW revolvers. The geometry did change over the years. One thing that I would add is that the original pork chop hand was not only thinner, but perhaps more importantly, longer. This probably has a lot to do with just how early the cylinder is rotated, which can only happen because the bolt is so quickly dropped out of the way due to the original trigger profile (no ledge). Another contributing factor to occasional light strikes in the earliest guns may have been the deeply recessed chambers which allowed too much headspace. That was corrected in the 15-1.
