Isn't this really something DW should be doing? Here are a few different versions I've been able to find...

Is that a S&W factory gun or was the work performed by a gunsmith? I have seen several different PPC conversions based on the old S&W model 10. None f them had the slab sided barrel and screw in weight. S&W needs to drop the lock or move it to an inconspicuous location...

Those look pretty cool, and I agree that DW should be thinking of making some like those WHEN they start making revolvers again.

Sounds like it is something from the S&W Performance Center. I'm sure it's low production if it is a production item.

I'm not well versed on Smiths by any means, but I have assumed that all their Performance Center stuff had some version of "PC" rollmarked on the barrel? Maybe that's not the case.
