I had wanted a .41 but a .44 will do just fine.

OfflineFor the Ruger guys or anyone else that can help.
I picked this up tonight. I just need some verification.
It seems like the timing is off. If I pull the hammer back slowly and stop at the last click where the trigger is set I can nudge the cylinder and hear the bolt drop in.
If I pull the hammer all the way back like I would normally cock a revolver it locks up fine.
What is involved in repairing this?
I'm not sure how to reply to the seller.
Thanks in advance.

OfflineHaving not owned a Bisley yet, I can only speculate. My standard Super Blackhawk only has two hammer clicks...as the hammer is cocked, the cylinder rotates. The cylinder stops rotating just as the hammer clicks the 2nd time at full cock, then it's locked up.
If I'm reading you right, your hammer still has some travel left after the 2nd click, to full cock?
