OfflineHow cheap? Stoegers can be had for under $500 new, and I think are solid enough for the money. CZ, like a Bobwhite, are much better quality and go for around $700-$800 new. If you can find a used CZ for $400-$500 I think that’s a great budget SxS.
For an older used model, I frequently see old Savage 311s locally for well under $500 and I think they are good solid old shotguns, just not pretty or fancy.

Cheap enough that if it gets stolen off the truck rack, I won't flinch. Might be going to New Mexico to help out on a ranch for 2-3 weeks. Open carry sidearms are discouraged. I have a singleshot 20GA I bought for $50. But, a double-barrel might be fun.

OfflineAh I see. Yes a double is always fun and useful. But In that case I would pick up a used pump. Most every gun shop around here has a couple old well used pumps on the rack for less than $200 or even $150. A Mossberg or old Stevens.
