I find myself looking at the ads every week now but there is really nothing else to go in my collection except some really rare expensive ones that just do not show up very often. I came across this Henry and it intrigued me it was new in box but more than that was the caliber. 45-70 is one of the oldest size ammo. It's dam big much larger than a 30-30 I think the guy listed it wrong as it sat there for $999 for a while. I contacted him off site and we made a deal $$$999 shipped. no tax. It sure is a beautiful gun I tried to find other 45-70's only found one and it was much higher. Anyway I can't go much longer than 2 months before I have to buy a gun! I did spend a crap load on barrels. Finally got a EWK barrel! PS the picture print came with the gun!

Here are pics of the EWK barrel it's drilled for a rail on the bottom that comes with the rail a good deal at $250 but the deal of the month goes to 728 getting a 41 magnum barrel assembly for $53 and a slab for $280 This seller had several barrels mislisted so they did not show up under either Dan Wesson Revolvers or Dan Wesson barrels. He had 5 or 6 barrels listed two of them did show up under Dan Wesson barrels but the other ones did not. I think 728 dropped down to look at sellers other items to find the other mislisted barrels but not sure. either way $53 for a 41 mag barrel assembly is not bad. Yea it had the owners name on the side but still $53 that's nuts! And no, the belt buckle was not included!

Stan, I was not paying attention and let that EWK go. Glad it was you that got it. I actually don't need any more BAs. Never thought I would say that. My new policy is if it and GTDW I don't need it. Did win that beautiful NOS Eagle walnut finger groove grip in the box though.
If I sold my grip stash it would crash the market. Early on the journey I remarked that First Gen Python grips were selling for $ 600. Now it is $800 or more. They were probably $10 in the 50s. S&W Registered Magnum grips were maybe $10 in 1935, now above $1200. 2cd Gen Python grips are now $400 or more. Roper Grips are even higher than Factory. DW grips from zebras to Sacremento have doubled in price in 10 years. Zebras are going for over 20 times what the were in 1975. Factory grips are appreciating faster than the guns. A great investment for the heirs. No FFL needed to sell or ship. EBay legal too.

Problem is the "heirs" might sell everything for pennies-on-the-dollar for fast cash?
I sent my spreadsheet to my son with all the purchase information and estimated market value time of purchase. As long as my wife doesn't sell them for what I "told" her I spent, the inheiritance should be intact.

I have a few Dan's I will be selling (pictures below). I have no idea what to list them for, so I was going to put them on GB with a high reserve to see what they might bring. I really do not like GB now that they have increased all the fees and added sales tax to the sale.
7445 Compensated Hunter Pack

Dan Wesson 445 ammo will be sold separately.
Model 40

I also have 357 Maximum Ammo that will be sold.
Unfluted 744 Pistol Pack 10"-8"-6" Barrel Assemblies
I have the original fluted cylinder also. The unfluted cylinder was put on at CZ Dan Wesson by Bob Collins, retired head gunsmith (never fired since the unfluted cylinder was put on). I think I have some 44 Magnum ammo also.

First Issue 715 Pistol Pack II (Complete only 20 or so ever made)

I think all revolvers are in excellent condition, some never shot. Not sure when I will list them. The 744 will not come with the grips in the picture those are Rosewood Grips made by LB to be sold separately. I have the LB Grips also going up for sale not sure when. They are pictured below. Thought members might enjoy the pictures.
LB Grips
Black and White Ebony -1 small frame-1large frame
Rosewood Grip-large frame
Thumb Rest Koa-large frame
